Out Of the Ordinary - Finished !

Click on the poster to see the production blog.

Almost 9 months of work is over. Hurray.... Time for cake and beers. It will be released around January 2013 (I will put up a link). I wont go into details about the work I did, because I'm gonna make a making of reel later on this year.

I will say that we were a lot behind in the end. We managed to light and render 37 shots, two man, in one week. Which I think was pretty damn cool. We also composited the whole movie in the last week. With help from three other awesome guys (Esben, Adrian and Mikkel).

Next up is internship. I will make a other blog post about that just to keep it clean.

Update of Girl Cyborg

I know, It's really fucking stupid staying up untill 1.30 AM a monday night. But I just couldn't stop. I promised myself to upload a WIP today, even though there still is a lot of work, texture, shading, modelling and hair wise.

Wish me luck tomorrow morning I need it to get up :)

Cheers
/Dennis

The Sea Witch

I tried to colour my picture in Photoshop, it was quit fun. And I'm happy with the result. I will hopefully be doing this more in the future.

Jumbo, The Giant Beetle

Software: Maya, Mental ray, Photoshop

Info:
The final result of a 7 weeks school project.

I would just like to thank, Chris Turnham, Kevin Dart, Anna Kubic & André Bergs, my teachers during this project.

I have never spent so long time on a image, and it was really cool to see how much you can do, and find your limit.

I made the 3d in maya, textures and composing was made in photoshop.

Jumbo, The Cirkus Freak

A concept i did in 1 week ! With the help of 2 great teachers Chris Turnham and Kevin Darts.

He is a gaint bug who was captured in the jungle. He is not dumb, but still his is very much like a child. And this places bore him a lot, so his is very depressed.

Snappy, 3D

Our two weeks with Carla is over now, it was great. We had to show our stuff today, so yesterday it got pretty late, but I finished my character. I rushed a lot, it was made in 3 days, where we also had lections.

But let me introduce you to Snappy:

He is very friendly once you get to know him.

I made this picture in a week during the class. But we had a lot of lessons meanwhile. I would have liked to have more time for it. But I'm pretty happy with it.
